Brain Damage

How To Be Funny Course

Type of Drinking Game: Card

Supplies Needed: 1 deck of cards, beer

# Players: 2+

Buzz Factor: Totally Drunk

Game Rating: 6

To prepare for the game you will need to remove all 8s, 9s and the red 10s removed from the deck.

The cards values are as follows...

Face cards: .5 points
Aces 1.0 point
2-7 face value
10s wild

Drink: If you lose to the dealer.

This game is played almost just like BlackJack but to 7.5 points.

Lay the cards in a pile face down. Everyone takes turns cutting the deck to see who deals first. The person with the highest card gets to go first, and then go in order of highest to lowest. It is best to get to deal towards the beginning. You are not allowed to leave the game until after you have been the dealer. Dealing first is great, dealing last has been known to result in "Brain Damage."

The Dealer deals one card face down to first player, one card face down to themself. Player looks at card, then bets an amount of beer. Usually a shot of beer is a good bet.

The player keeps their first card face down, and can take as many hits as he wants, but does not want to go over 7.5. If he goes over 7.5, he must drink the bet. Once the player stops then the dealer turns over his card, and then hits until he thinks he has the player beat. If dealer busts, he drinks the bet.

When the dealer stops and is satisfied with his hand, the player turns over his card. The person with the lowest total drinks. If they tie the player drinks.

Now switch dealers...the dealer is then the person who had the second highest card in the cutting of the deck at the beginning of the game.

If the player gets a "five card charlie" (5 cards, not busted), he wins automatically. The dealer cannot draw, dealer loses even with a 10 in hand. If the player draws to 7.5, dealer can of course try to tie and will then win.

Play continues until everyone has dealt.
